BioI have an M.A. in English from Georgia Southern University. I'm a freelance writer, and occasionally a professor of English (when the budget cuts will still allow me to work). I generally write in the sci-fi and fantasy genres, and am a dedicated fanfiction addict. I am Pagan, and have been since I was fourteen. My two most successful academic papers were written concerning paganism. One, "Magick in the Media: Pagans and Paganism in Books, Film, and Television," is currently in the submissions process to PCAS, the journal which awarded the same paper with 1st place at its conference in 2003.
In my journal, you're likely to find my fics (WIPs are posted as they are written, then archived on my site and others when completed), rants about the insanity that is my life and the idiocy that is the current political environment, and occasional random fluff.
I play a lot of video games, particularly World of Warcraft. My main character is a level 60 warlock on the Emerald Dream RP-PvP Server. I keep an in-character blog of her ramblings at http://demoncuddles.livejournal.com/
As they're now saying that if you have any potentially adult info on your LJ to say so in your bio, consider this your warning. I write as I think, and occasionally certain words may make their way into my rants. I also have a tendency toward the smuttier side of fanfiction, and most of my fanfiction is SLASH, which means homosexual relationships. I am bisexual, and may occasionally discuss this (particularly in rants against the evil Bush). If you don't like it, don't read it. Kids, go away.
